Canadian adult and children road death and injury statistics 2023

The number of deaths on CA roads fell 16% year-on-year to an all-time low of 1,857 in 2010, provisional Government figures have shown. Official data showed an 8% year-on-year drop in the number of people reported killed or seriously injured in 2023, to 22,660. Total casualties (slight injuries, serious injuries and deaths) in road accidents reported to the police in 2010 fell 6% year-on-year to 208,655.
